What If Enlightenment Is Only Half The Journey

Narissa Moeller April 19, 2025

We all know how much emphasis is placed on enlightenment, and rightfully so. Evolution is our number one purpose. But what if enlightenment is just half the journey.

As a soul before we ever come to earth to play the role of a human we are full, complete and whole. Why step down to a place that can be a struggle? If expansion, growth and evolution are chief principles of universal law then maybe the new frontier is the expansion of light into a lower dimension, a lower vibrational realm, for the purpose of, the creation of heaven on earth.

So, instead of gaining enlightenment with the intention of leaving earth behind, our journey is to continue to raise the environmental vibration and create a utopia here on earth. A place we would be happy to revisit.

Think about it. We would be considerably more engaged in our health, wealth, knowledge and relationships. Manifestation, would be a major part of our focus. The learning of the siddhis would make more sense. I remember Maharishi saying, “Once we gain liberation (Moksha) we move on to Mastery”. Liberation, in this context, rests as a passive application of Moksha. Thereby, making Mastery the proactive component of Moksha.

Earth is a place of contrast which makes it easy to know what we don’t want or what we want less of. This awareness is the seed for us having a desire. That which is more inline with what we do want. This will launch us into action to acquire what we want. Our default mode is to effort our way there. However, there is another way.

Acting from the deep quietness of Self we can let a thought/desire arise that perfectly identifies precisely what we want in its subtle wholeness. We would then be in the home of all knowledge, the field of all possibilities, the state of Ritumbara Pagya. A place where each item of creation is in a perfect blueprint state and is already manifest in a myriad of dimensions, simultaneously. It is like holograms of the same item stacked one within the other with slight variations due to changes governing each of these dimensions.  However, our job as manifestors is simply to match our vibration with the item desired and Nature does the rest. In this way we can witness our co-creations.

Let’s practice with our own health.

Rest deeply in your own silence. Now, bring in the feeling of your body. Initially just feel your body’s vibration and simply rest with this feeling. You will feel subtle corrections taking place by this act of attention alone. Then wish for perfect health. Stay present and you will witness the tiny devas joyfully working to make your body healthier. If you can’t see them or feel them then imagine them and soon they will magically materialize. Don’t forget the joyfulness, that’s where the magic is.

Love. Love. Love.

Four Fold Nature

Narissa Moeller September 5, 2024

In chapter 15 verses 16, 17 & 18 of the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna reveals the four layers of Himself. He starts with Ksaras, the perishable self, the persona, our personal self/identity or the personage known as Krishna. Then, he speaks of Aksaras, the imperishable self, our soul, or Vishnu in the case of Krishna.

Lord Krishna then moves on to some lofty heights, in verse 17, as he reveals the 3rd aspect of His nature, Ishwara and/or Paramatma. This is what we reference as the over soul. A state of awareness that oversees our individual soul. In psychology our subconscious referenced as our shadow self in more contemporary spiritual terms. The layer of deep awareness that drives our deepest desires in many ways unknown to our conscious self.

Ishwara and Paramatma, from Lord Krishna’s explanation appear to be two sides of the same coin with Ishwara being the more precipitated, particle aspect of Paramatma, the wave nature of the two.

In verse 18, Lord Krishna unveils the fourth layer of His own nature, Purusottamah, the Supreme Purusha. The God-head nature of Lord Krishna.

I see these layers of self/Self as being operational within our own nature. We are a persona, within a soul, within an oversoul, within a godhead self. We, in the ultimate analysis, are the full package. Whatever Lord Krishna is, we are.

There is also a relationship between this four fold nature of self and our consciousness behaviors. Sattva, Atman, Moksha and Brahman. In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, chapter 3 verse 36 and again in verse 50 Patanjali makes a distinction between sattva and atman to start it off. Although Patanjali didn’t present a sutra that offers a distinction between atman and moksha (liberation) he does devote the fourth and final chapter to Liberation. Perhaps a fifth chapter could have been cognized on the subject of Brahman.

If we are translating these states of awareness to sutras they may be something like this. Distinction between sattva and atma. Then distinction between atma and moksha. And finally distinction between moksha and brahm. With such a practice we would enliven the four fold nature of consciousness regularly.

Happy consciousness research my friends. ❤️❤️❤️

Brahman Consciousness

Narissa Moeller July 7, 2023

For some months now I’ve been feeling/thinking on how best to approach this blog topic. Even at this time I’m not completely convinced I have the right approach, but I have to say something.

This website is really for the more advanced seekers/knowers of higher states of consciousness so tighten your seatbelt.

Pure Consciousness eventually culminates in Unity Consciousness where we see our Self as everything and everything in our Self. A nice blend between pure consciousness and the material world. But this is not Brahman Consciousness. As per my own direct experience, I’m finding UC to be creation specific because it needs The Relative (the items and attributes of the material world) to unite something(s).

We can look at it as pure consciousness, being the tablecloth for a nice dinner with the beautiful place setting as components of the material world (foundational components) and the food as an endless array of sensory taste objects, selected from the field of all-possibilities. None of which would be on such a beautiful display without the covered table (Brahman).

When you look around you right now, in the place you are sitting, while reading this article, you see objects, but we can also see/sense/know that pure consciousness really permeates all those sense objects evenly. It even permeates you, the observer, your body, your thoughts, your emotions. This happens to such an extent, in this state that there is no difference between everything you are and everything you see.  Even what you don’t see beyond the walls around you extends to infinity.

However, if you look/feel closely, you’ll notice that you somehow are more brilliant than the evenness of pure consciousness. You have a radiance greater than pure consciousness and you can see or sense it in other awake souls you come across. So, what is that? This thing that is brighter than pure consciousness with a sense of being as foundational as pure consciousness but somehow more than pure consciousness. Where does that come from?

I went into that brilliance, into Self, and couldn’t find Its source. I assumed It was somehow a creation of pure consciousness but that wasn’t the case. It stands alone. Self-effulgent in Its own nature. Not an outcropping. If anything, pure consciousness is a development of this brilliance. I was perplexed for many days. Making many consciousness trips to this brilliance seeking out Its source. I did find a point value to It. A highly concentrated brilliance that shook my physical body on a deep level and delivered high amounts of bliss. Along with a continuous abstract folding and unfolding undulation of newness. Like Self in a creation mode but with nothing actually manifesting, but continually creating. The verse in the Gita came to mind, ‘Curving back on My own nature, I create again and again’.

While in that state I can easily slide into It where all that is around and through my Self is brilliance. No others. No world. No agenda. Just pure Self in radiant bliss. I’m thinking this may be Brahman Consciousness. I don’t own that state yet, but I know the trail to It. I find my meditation continually culminating there.

I’m writing this so you too will find a way to rest in your own brilliance. Know that there is a difference between resting in your radiance and in the point value/center or source of that radiance. The source point is in the heart of the soul located in the center of the chest, spoken of in the Upanishads as the size of the thumb. Tread carefully there, it can be extremely intense as a full dose, but you can back-off of it to where it’s manageable for your nervous system. It will be better for your consciousness development to take smaller doses and allow for assimilation. Enjoy.

 Love always my friends ❤️❤️❤️

Knowledge

Narissa Moeller May 7, 2023

Knowledge has a great range. It rests in the middle offering linkage between pure consciousness/purusha on one hand and the foundation of traditional behavioral norms, found in most religions, on the other hand.

Let’s start in the middle and work outward.

In the middle we find knowledge as both manifest and unmanifest serving as a blueprint of perfection for everything. This version of knowledge has been called Veda by the ancient seers. The Vedas can be found in a subtle layer of existence within every one’s consciousness.

Veda may first be experienced as a waveform with intelligence, containing color, beautiful sound and ancient messaging all at once. Sitting back a bit, all this has a spiraling structure never still always alive, vibrant, joyful, tickling the heart with bliss.

From here everything that’s been, is and will ever be within creation is available in its perfect blueprint form.

If we feel into what its source is we find it to be akin to Prakrit, the organizing component of Purusha, pure consciousness. Going deeper we find we transcend the field of “i-want” or desire and we are in the layer or field of liberation, the great Self of peace, with a pure bliss overtone. Deeper and there is pure Nothingness, a place of no attributes, para brahman, source, pure stillness yet so full and blissful.

Nothingness can be visually experienced as a pure benevolent darkness, a Shiva experience signifying the total end but as a grand positive blissful reality. Or it can be experienced as brilliant light like a white-hot brilliance, brighter than bright illumination, signifying the source of everything in its purest state, a Purusha value.

The Great Darkness is more of the ultimate contraction the grand inward stroke devoid of everything/anything, peaceful yet somehow full, calm, and blissful in nature.

The Great Brilliance on the other hand is the ultimate beginning before the beginning resting within Its own Great Self, poised and ready for anything including nothing prepared for the grand outward stroke but in a state of perpetual Stillness, radiant, still and blissful, beyond words if I’m being honest.

We can consider this to be the Rishi value of knowledge/Veda. Maharishi spoke of three components to everything, Rishi, Devata, Chandes. Rishi is the source value. Chandes is the manifest value or the resultant. And Devata is the linkage between Rishi and Chandes.

Taking the full range of consciousness into consideration, I find Devata to be most fascinating. In my opinion, Devata is where the magic happens. Knowledge/Veda is the essence of the Devata value of Wholeness.

As a blueprint It holds perfection of everything. Our perfect self can be known by resting within our own veda. If we allow our inner self to completely experience our own veda we will find ourselves to function at our full potential. However, through time we have lived so much of our existence in a lesser condition that it will take many visits to this layer of consciousness before full resonation with our perfect self can be a 24/7 reality.

On the grosser levels of our own personal veda norms of behavior for the sake of obtaining perfection are prescribed. Pieces of these norms have found their way into traditional religions and observances. They can also be found in parables and old stories with a moral in secular context.

I’d like to end this blog where I started, in the middle. :) by glorifying the Devata value. Realize that on one hand we have this pure consciousness component and on the other this manifest component. Let your awareness rest between these two beauties capturing both and neither simultaneously rest right there. By enlivening this layer of creation, you will at least know perfection in an abstract manner and that will be very good for your soul.

Blessings my friends.

Stillness within the Pillar of Rushing Light

Narissa Moeller October 22, 2022

This is a continuation of the previous blog. So check that out first.

So, as I mentioned, within the pillar of rushing light can be found a deep stillness. Stillness is a royal consciousness phenomenon. The name Rama means Stillness in Sanskrit. So that should give you some idea as to the power of even the word Stillness. It can be used as a mantra and it will deliver profound experience.

When I feel deeply into Stillness, allowing all that I am to be immerse within Stillness, especially within the rushing light Stillness, it takes on a structure, a crystal, gem, diamond, structure. I feel my Self to be solid in firmness, hard as a diamond, so strongly held by consciousness there is a sense of being paralyzed, held perpetually motionless by Its presence. Nothing exists but that beautiful overwhelming Stillness. Everything stops. Everything. Full samadhi.

It is strange and surprising that this deep feeling of silent stillness would be a hard crystal-like structure but that’s the experience. In my opinion this the crest jewel, the hidden treasure named in the eighth word of the first verse of Rig Veda, Ratna.

Its nature: The nature of this level of stillness is a collection of purity of consciousness fully devoid of any impurities. Purity in a way squeezes out impurity leaving a solid block of purity which we may perceive to be diamond-like. This somewhat describes its detox or purifying nature from the standpoint of elimination or exclusion.

From the standpoint of inclusion, purity devourers impurities and transforms it into purity. I’m sure both are happening simultaneously.

I hope that describing this experience in such detail hasn’t separated you from the beauty of the experience. The experience is so much more than these words can capture. Know that even remote contact with such an experience is transformative.

Blessings.

Love you all ❤️❤️❤️

Be Anywhere

Narissa Moeller April 30, 2020

In my last blog we discussed time now let’s examine space (akasha).

There are 5 elements, earth, water, fire, air and space. Each is associated with a sense of perception. Earth with smell, water with taste, fire with sight, and space with hearing (sound).

Let’s peel back the layers of space/sound. When we sit quietly you may notice that you can hear the nothingness. It comes as tones. Some are high pitched and others are of a low drone. If you listen closely you’ll hear several tones at the same time one within the other. If everything in creation is vibration then you are hearing the sounds of creation over and over again. “Curving back on my own nature, I create again and again”. Lord Krishna says this in the Bhagavad Gita.

Maharishi Patanjali in his Yoga Sutras, has a section entitled, Powers. In that section in item 43 Patanjali provides the formula for levitation. The first part of it is based on the creation of a relationship between one’s body and the ether, as Patanjali puts it. When I feel into this ether/space/akasha I sense being space. My identity is not of the body so in a way I’m nowhere. However, I am endless space so I’m everywhere. As such, this really doesn’t feel like a sutra/formula for levitation but rather one for teleportation. A way to find your body anywhere in the universe, virtually instantaneously. I honestly think the mastery of this technique is the principle by which advanced civilizations in the universe travel.

If I wish to experience levitation I find it more useful to use the association of body with air or vayu, the sanskrit name for air/wind. Feeling into this, although not as stable as the creation of a relationship with space, actually causes the body to bounce/float. It seems that a blend of vayu and akasha works best. Yes, very fine points but we are talking of mastery and control. A perfection of the basic technique.

Yet another fine point of creating a relationship between body and space is in the act of identification with space. We will find our body to be less material in nature, adopting more of a space nature. Less material means less visible. I believe this is the fundamental component to both space travel and the phasing in and out of materialization.

All of this may sound fictional in nature but believe me it’s where our consciousness development is headed. We may as well start to investigate it. I love that each of us have all the equipment for this journey. It’s pretty much a matter of attention and identification. Safe travels my friends.

Wave Function (part 3)

Narissa Moeller February 2, 2020

We’ve discussed the particle nature of the wave function and the amplitude and frequency of it as well. Now, let’s focus on the undulation of the wave function.

Many have experienced within meditation a sense  of a rhythmic movement and undulation. Actually, a seemingly endless undulation. So what is that?

There’s a layer of experience in meditation that’s not quite full silence it’s the stirring of that silent, nothingness state. This is the foundation of creation just before full fledged creation. It’s not quite at the level of the full excitation of creation. It’s simply the seemingly lazy awakening of creation. It’s experienced as a sleepy stir and slow undulation of the silence.

This undulation has been symbolized as a slow moving serpent. Shesha, the seven headed serpent on which Vishnu reposes. Vasuki, nagaraja (royal serpent) that is draped around the neck of Shiva. The serpent found in the garden of eden.

Let’s take a closer look at this experience of the undulating movement of consciousness.

Consciousness can be spoken of as a noun or a verb, let’s discuss it as a verb. In this reference consciousness is the act of being conscious, aware, awake to its Self. If we have an action then there is a subject (the actor) and an object (that being acted upon).

If consciousness is the action then the actor must be existence. Is-ness is at the basis of am-ness.

Existence is the true Self. It simply is. It is pure singularity. The one, the only. In this pure state it seeks no apparatus for knowing (knowledge) it Self. However, for whatever reason, if there needs to be one, there’s a desire for Perfect Self to know Self. This inspires an action. The act of being conscious. The birth of consciousness. The beginning of Duality. Because how can something look at itself without the creation of another self. This is the creation of duality. True original sin. The undulating “serpent” in the garden of eden offering fruit from the tree of knowledge. Knowledge of good and evil. The birth of duality.

If knowledge is structured in consciousness then consciousness is structured in existence.

I’ve casted consciousness in a bad light because from the perspective of singularity, duality is not a good thing. It’s the disruption of Oneness. However, from the standpoint of Wholeness it must be accepted because wholeness says Yes to everything. From the position of multiplicity the verb consciousness is revered as a major stepping stone on the path to singularity. Truth is different in different states of consciousness (the noun).

Back to the components of our sentence, subject (existence), verb (consciousness), and object (self). And now the sentence. Self knows Self for Self. There’s the 3 in 1 the ancients speak of. (Sorry couldn’t help myself had to play with this).

The experience of undulating consciousness is a good thing, for in the end Shiva is friends with the  nagaraja Vasuki as Vishnu is friends with his bed the nagaraja Shesha. As in our experience where undulating consciousness comes from the stirrings of silence.

Happy meditations ❤️❤️❤️

Play Ground of Enlightenment

Narissa Moeller June 22, 2019

Spiral of consciousness, Infinite Self, 3 Infinities, Atma, Brahm, Sat Chitt Ananda, Shakti, Kundalini, Grace, The Gap, Ritam Bhara Pragniam, Samadhi, Self vs No Self, Jiva vs Atma, Chakras, Fire of knowledge, Fire of Brahman,Being What Is, The Devatas,Unbounded Bliss, Bubbling Bliss, Emptiness, Field of subtle perception, Omniscience, Omnipresence, Omnipotent, One pointedness, Multiplicity, Knowledge of the nature of an object to include other beings, etc, etc, etc.

Every one of these realms is complete, full, whole... Is a study or playground unto itself, with endless possibilities. Each holds a foundation for its own discipline, could easily be the basis for a belief system, a religion. But in reality it’s simply another face of the Infinite, endlessly complex and surprisingly simple and even nonexistent, all phases experienced simultaneously in a continuum of finely layered evolutions. Overwhelmingly beautiful resting in its own nature. Beauty beyond description. Painfully exquisite. (Pause to experience)

For the enlightened these realities are revolving play grounds experienced either with eyes closed or open, accessible all the time.

What I find interesting in the entertainment of these experiences is the sense of feeling the limits of our nervous systems. One knows internally that the experience can be richer because it’s all rooted in infinity so there is no limit to each reality. The limit rests in the vehicle’s ability to experience those specific infinities. Experience has limits. Infinity does not.

Does Small Self need to be Conquered to Gain Enlightenment?

Narissa Moeller June 11, 2019

Seems that many have found a way to know the expanse of their own infinity while still expressing 'small-self' traits. Stretching consciousness to unboundedness does not exclude anything of what we were before this awakened state. Enlightenment is not a zero-sum game, it's rather a play of infinite inclusion. So, everything we were before is simply added to the grandness of who or what we are now.

I often see so many individuals place qualifier on themselves before they will allow their enlightenment. Simple question I pose is, "What's holding you back?"  I then address these obstacles until the client realizes they are holding themselves back by giving power to these silly little barriers.

Our infinite nature has the ability to incorporate All that we are and still know its Self.

Glory of One Pointedness

Narissa Moeller June 8, 2019

One Pointedness comes from living in the moment. Simply direct your attention to, Now. Even say it mentally to affirm the experience. Something like, ‘Be in this moment’. Or ‘Experience Now’.

As one pointedness begins to take hold in your psychology notice that it has a physiological correlate in the heart. Let the attention go there. Rest there. Be there.

The heart will open like a porthole into pure being-ness. Go through it. Rest there.

Enlightenment Dark?

Narissa Moeller May 8, 2019

Your new enlightenment - after the honeymoon. Usually what one finds is, it's hard to be part of the old world or habits after your awakening. It’s kind of an issue of honesty. Yet... What about those responsibilities? Internal beauty. Yet... External confusion. Am I being honest to myself? Or do I need to take care of the others? Maybe now that I’m enlightened I really don’t need to be on the planet anymore? Now that's really dark but it happens.

Lots to think about and that’s the problem. Thinking.

The new world you are now a part of is huge and plays by a different set of rules. One being life is now non-linear. You will have to find a way to be comfortable with uncertainty. You are living in the Now, the Moment. Planning now takes a backseat to the Moment. Planning is based in something of a future nature usually based on something in the past. Past and future don’t disappear, they just aren’t dominant anymore. Again, honesty prevails. The honesty of the Moment.

As you open to your new found infinite nature, options are endless. How do you digest that? You don’t. You can’t. Our nervous systems don’t have the bandwidth.

Here’s where the issues arise for the newly minted enlightened and even the soon to be enlightened.

Due to old habits we attempt to fit our new reality into our old life. Sometimes there’s a match here and there but for the most part it’s a mismatch.

Honestly, the most comfortable solution is just "Letting Go". Allow yourself to be a faithful servant to divinity, the giver of the grace which you now realize is your true nature, that beautiful infinity that’s allowed you to know God. Just live baby. Just live.
